Trend Spotting: Sheer

Sheer clothing can be considered a recycled trend because it's been around forever. You can dress sheer tops and bottoms either up or down, for any occasion. What you wear under your semi-revealing choice of clothing is what can actually set you apart from the next person rocking something similar.

Last month Rihanna decided to go commando while out and about in New York. Rih Rih left nothing to the imagination with her sheer top, hence the reason why she's covered up in the photo above.

Singer Ashanti decided to go with this Dominique Auxilly 'Pop Art Nicki' dress while performing in Atlantic City. Many of Dominique Auxilly's beautiful pieces have that sheer element that's been on the red carpets since the Spring season.
